Making of a Chou Chou 3 [Frilly type]

Preparations

Two satin fabrics (50cm each ) .
Bias cutting the brown fabric.
Draw a bias line with a triangle .

Draw three parallel lines to the first line at intervals of 12cm(4.8").

And cut it all.

There are three parallelograms.
Bias cut the black fabric in four at intervals of 4cm(1.6").

Sew the brown fabrics.
Lay the brown fabrics face to face at right angles.

Sew the edge with 1cm seam (0.4").



Sew the black fabrics in the same way.

Each colors would be about 2m (80").
Cut the brown fabric in 1.6m (64").
Fold the black fabric side to side and press it all.

Cut the both sides of brack fabrics at right angles.
Cut one side at right angle,
measure 1.6m (64") and cut other side at right angle.

Press the seams of the fabrics open.
Lay the brown fabrics right side up,
place the black on the brown edge
and pin together.
The black is 2cm (0.8") longer than the brown at both sides.
Fold the brown fabrics side to side and pin together.


Sew the edge with 1cm (0.4") seam saving both side 4cm (1.6").
Turn the right side out.

Press the seam.

Pin the short sides together
and sew it with 1cm seam (0.4").
Pass an elastic string 20cm (8") through the tube.
Fasten the tips and put a knot in the tube.
Close up the openning.

Sew the edge of the brown carefully.
  
 Finish!!
Making of another chou chou with the remains of the clothes
Bias cut the black fabric in three at intervals of 12cm(4.8").
Bias cut the brown fabric in four at intervals of 4cm(1.6").

Make another chou chou in the same way,
A black chou chou trimmed with a brown fabric.
Variations
Two colors chou chou.
Trimmed with a lace.
